Position: Project Engineer

Job Description: Supports the construction of a 90 million dollar ethanol expansion project at Midwest Renewable Energy. Leads overall planning & schedule development, analysis and reporting efforts for the project. Responsible for understanding the complete project scope, project schedule objectives and developing and maintaining a plan and schedule to accomplish the same. Responsible for planning and coordinating schedule interfaces with owners, vendors and subcontractors. Responsible for detailed execution schedules, resource utilization plans and progress tracking systems. Supports project organizational and administrative activities when delegated. Assists the Construction Manager to ensure work is completed as scheduled.

Background Requirements: BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or the equivalent in experience. Minimum 3 years of Planning and Scheduling experience. Superior organizational and problem solving skills. Recent working knowledge of Microsoft Projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
